Social Skills through Music Therapy: For Children

Everyone knows that music is beneficial for young minds, but it can be especially useful in fostering social and developmental skills among peers, learning how to collaborate, and building confidence!

Through engaging activities each child is encouraged to express themselves and connect with others in a safe and supportive environment.

This group fosters an inclusive environment where every child, regardless of their abilities or background, can find their unique rhythm and thrive.

Throughout the series children have the opportunity to develop social skills such as:

  • turn-taking

  • imitation

  • peer support

  • joint or shared attention

  • emotional understanding

  • empathy

This is an in-person group for children ages 4-6 that meets weekly from 9-9:45am starting Monday July 10 through Monday August 7.
