Andrew Elman

Andrew is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and Registered Art Therapist. He works with children, adults, and families who are dealing with depression, anxiety, borderline personality disorder, grief, and parent-child conflict.

Andrew did his graduate work at Phillips Graduate Institute (Encino, CA). He received a Master in Psychology specializing in Marriage and Family Therapy and Art Therapy. He has been an Art Therapist in various settings, which include inpatient psychiatric, oncology, eating disorder inpatient and PHP, College Counseling Center, and outpatient private practice. He has provided individual, family, couples, and group therapy for the past 20 years.

Expressive therapies are especially helpful for children who naturally communicate through play. For adolescents and adults activity can facilitate communication or insight unable to be heard and recognized through normal dialogue.
